Art Journaling
Create. Reflect. Discover a little more about yourself.
A creative space to pause, express and reflect through drawing, journaling, visualisation and hands-on art-making while noticing what’s happening within, exploring new perspectives and choosing what you’d like to carry forward.
No art skills needed.
Your expression matters more than what the page looks like.
Art Journaling is more than making a pretty page.
It gives us a creative way to pause, notice what’s happening within us, explore another perspective, and choose what we want to carry forward.
01 - Notice
What is here?
Through colours, lines, words and images, pause and notice the thoughts, feelings and inner messages that may be showing up for you.
Simply notice. No judgement.
02 - Reframe
Could I see this differently?
Get curious about the thoughts or inner voices that may sometimes get in your way and explore another way of looking at them.
A different perspective can create a different possibility.
03 - choose
What do I want to carry forward?
Explore what you would like to grow, strengthen or move towards and turn that intention into something visual and meaningful.
From reflection towards intention.
Notice what’s there. Explore another perspective. Choose what you want to carry forward.
So, what does Art Journaling actually look like?
There is no “right” way for an art journal page to look. You might scribble, draw, write, play with colour, create symbols or simply follow where the process takes you.
It isn't about making “good art.” It's about noticing what comes up while you create.
